Katherine’s latest project

highlights women artists of Charlottesville who continued to create their art during the challenges of the pandemic. The film celebrates collaborative art, dance, and innovation.

One of Katherine’s earliest memories was listening to her mother sing Peruvian and Puerto Rican folk songs at the guitar.

These songs spoke about love, loss, anger, a desire for adventure, and a longing for safety.

Their narratives sparked an unquenchable curiosity within Katherine about humans and their stories, and how we use music and the arts to connect deeper with each other and find our way home.
